Biography

Joseph Reed, PhD, ABPP, is a Clinical Psychologist Board Certified in Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychology. He is Clinical Associate Faculty at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis (CCP) and previous instructor at the Institute for Clinical Social Work (ICSW). He also serves on the Continuing Education Committee of the American Psychoanalytic Association. He completed his Bachelor’s at the University of Louisville, Doctorate at the University of Toledo, and his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine (The Menninger Clinic). He received advanced training in psychodynamic therapy at Columbia University and the William Alanson White Institute. Prior to going into private practice, he was Staff Psychologist at Yellowbrick, a treatment center for emerging adults in Evanston.
